Warnlochhead Lead Mining and Gold Panning Museum is open 7 days each week from April until October between 11am and 4.30pm. In July and August they are open 7 days each week from 10am until 5pm. As a guide, your visit should last 2 to 3 hours.

 

The original Ruthwell Parish Bank now houses the Savings Banks Museum, a collection of early home savings boxes, coins and bank notes from many parts of the world. The Museum houses a collection of early home safes, coins and bank notes from many parts of the world, including the first three lock box used in the Ruthwell Parish Bank.
